1. Data Collection
We collect information you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, Student ID (for verification), and payment details.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to:
- Verify your identity as a student.
- Process payments and withdrawals.
- Send transaction notifications and updates.
- Detect and prevent fraud.
3. Security & Sharing
Payment Security
We do not store your credit card or banking password details. All payment processing is handled securely by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway authorised by the Reserve Bank of India.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We only share necessary data with third-party providers (such as our payment gateway, Razorpay) to facilitate transactions.
4. Cookies & Local Storage
No advertising or analytics trackers
DoItForMe runs no third-party analytics, advertising or social tracking of any kind. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, and no session-recording tool on this site. Because we set no tracking cookies, there is nothing here that requires a cookie consent banner.
Cookies we do set
Only the ones needed to keep you signed in. These are set by our authentication provider, Supabase, and hold your session so you are not asked to log in on every page. They are strictly necessary — blocking them will stop you being able to log in at all. Clearing your browser data removes them and signs you out.
What we keep in your browser
We store a small amount of data in your browser's local storage: which dismissible prompts you have already closed, and — on your first visit — the referring site and any campaign parameters in the link you arrived through.
How we use that first-visit information
If you go on to create an account, that referring site and campaign information is saved against your account so we can tell which channels bring students to the platform. It is used for that purpose only: it is never sold, never shared with advertisers, and is not used to build a profile of you or to target you with anything. If you never sign up, it stays in your browser and never reaches us. You can ask us to delete it along with the rest of your account data at any time — see the contact details below.
